Job Summary

As a Pharmaceutical Technician at LifeBridge Health, you will play a crucial role in preparing medications, screening prescriptions, and supplying patients with correctly filled medication orders. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and participate in performance improvement activities to identify and rectify problems.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare medications, screen prescriptions, and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders
  • Perform tasks involved with storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs
  • Complete associated record keeping and charging activities
  • Work under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Participate in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with outside departments to identify and rectify problems
Requirements
  • Preferred High School Diploma
  • 2-4 years Pharmacy experience Preferred
  • 2-4 years Hospital pharmacy experience Preferred
  • PTCB - Certified Pharmacy Tech
  • PTSR - Pharmacy Tech State Registration
