About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Researcher to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for analyzing systems to understand how they work and how they behave when they break.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plans to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in complex software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective security solutions
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of system internals, network protocols, and exploit mitigations
  • Develop and maintain tools to find, exploit, and productize vulnerabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on vulnerability research and exploitation
  • Strong understanding of operating system internals, network protocols, and exploit mitigations
  • Experience with C or C++ programming languages
  • Experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, HexRays, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, or objdump
  • Experience with debuggers such as gdb, WinDbg, OllyDbg
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with embedded systems development
  • Understanding of OS internals (any major OS)
  • Experience reading or writing assembly (x86, x64, ARM, PPC, MIPS, SPARC, 68k, or others)
  • Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP stacks, wire-level protocols, RF communications, BGP, routing protocols, or others)

Security Clearance

Education

BS/MS in technical discipline or equivalent work experience will be considered.
