Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Dependency Counselor II Bilingual to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our team, you will provide assessment and intervention services under direct supervision, while also providing consultation to outside agencies on problems, assessments, and recommendations for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnosis and treatment for clients within the range of program services, with a focus on chemical dependency treatment.
  • Provide individual and family counseling, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Prepare written reports, regular case dictation, and summaries for consultation, adhering to program standards and professional ethics.
  • Perform other duties necessary to accomplish objectives, including acting as an advocate for program participants with courts, schools, treatment centers, and other services as appropriate.
  • Provide outreach and case management to primary clients, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the support they require.
Requirements
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English Only) Required.
  • Combination of experience and education represented by a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years relevant chemical dependency counseling work experience.
  • LCDC II or be licensure eligible.
  • Must have knowledge and experience working with adolescents and alcohol/drug assessment and case management if clients are youth returning from state institution or in juvenile justice system.
  • Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must possess group work skills.
  • Must have competent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of computers with familiarity of Microsoft Office software. EMR: Avatar.
  • Final applicant is required to be fingerprinted. Can start with fingerprinting pending.
  • Two written references from a Supervisor - Please send with submission.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

No Weekends/Holidays as needed. No Call.
