Dental Hygienist Per Diem New Virtua Camden Dental Center

About the Role:
The Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality patient care by cleaning and maintaining teeth of both children and adult patients, enabling the Dentist to perform more complicated procedures.
This role will also help maintain patient volume when the Dentist is out of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining teeth of both children and adults.
- Exposing, processing, mounting, intraoral and panoramic dental radiographic x-rays, maintaining dental records of patients, providing preventive care, including sealants and fluoride treatments as well as nutritional counseling.
- Sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments.
- Setting up hygiene trays for dental hygiene procedures.
- Setting up and disinfecting of the dental patient rooms before and after patient procedures.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygienist program with a AAS or BS degree required.
- Current and up-to-date registration for Dental Hygienist credentials.
