CT Scan Technologist

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Consistently performs high quality CT scan studies for patient populations according to protocols established by radiologists.
* Demonstrates knowledge of routine and non-routine CT exams and applies those principles to obtain high quality images based upon patient age, habitus, and/or disease process.
* Provides thorough and accurate documentation, including obtaining pertinent medical information prior to procedures and reviewing physician's orders.
* Provides safe and effective IV contrast administration, including IV catheter insertion, and preps patients according to established protocols.
* Assists physicians during interventional CT scan procedures and provides emergency on-call services when indicated.
**Requirements:**
* Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred.
* Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and N.J. DEP licensure required.
* Advanced level ARRT certification in CT scan technology preferred.
* CPR certification preferred.
