Position Summary
The Groundskeeper is accountable for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the property and residential units in accordance with company standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold exceptional customer service by following established Peak standards.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain attractive exterior appearances consistently.
- Conduct daily inspections of outdoor areas and buildings, including walkways.
- Collect litter from the grounds regularly.
- Operate the trash compactor daily, including weekends as required.
- Clean the mailbox area on a daily basis.
- Water and care for flowers, plants, and shrubs as necessary.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning of the swimming pool as needed.
- Keep accurate records of swimming pool chemical levels, complying with state and local regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pool area.
- Assist in the upkeep of the office, clubhouse, and amenity spaces.
- Ensure optimal curb appeal at all times.
- Replace light bulbs as necessary.
- Maintain the painting of curbs and speed bumps.
- Sweep, blow, or pressure wash walkways, parking lots, and communal areas.
- Keep storm drains clear of debris.
- Distribute and post notices, newsletters, and flyers.
- Support the execution of turnover events.
- Clear out vacant units.
- Address and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
- Follow the company dress code.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial work, or maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to operate general cleaning equipment and tools, including hand tools, painting equipment, ladders, cleaning chemicals, vacuums, blowers, and hoses.
