About the Position

This is a teaching position that requires a 4-4 teaching load along with service requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising graduate students in on-campus and/or off-campus practicum experiences in speech-language pathology, as well as teaching undergraduate or graduate classes as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise graduate students in on-campus and/or off-campus practicum experiences in speech-language pathology
  • Teach undergraduate or graduate classes as needed
  • Participate in service to the program, department, college, university, and the profession

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
  • CCC-SLP certification
  • Eligibility for Georgia licensure
  • Doctorate (preferred) or earned master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Science, or Communication Sciences and Disorders at the time of appointment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of speech-language pathology and communication sciences and disorders
  • Experience in teaching and clinical supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
