About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Operations Director to lead our logistics and procurement efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing an efficient flow of materials and information from product creation to shipment, ensuring customer demand is met while maintaining operational and financial objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in Supply Chain/Materials Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. They will possess expertise in SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning), demand & supply planning, capacity planning, finite scheduling, and lean manufacturing systems.

A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement pull Kanban systems and/or VMI systems from scratch, explore new technologies to reduce non-value-added procurement and planning activities, and oversee contract review processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs activities of staff members engaged in purchasing, storage, logistics, demand & supply planning analysis, production scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Demonstrates business acumen by evaluating and proposing alternate supply chain/inventory options to improve overall business performance.
  • Assumes overall responsibility for the proper sourcing and procurement of materials, supplies, and services for facilities.
  • Controls, measures, and regulates efficient inventory levels of materials, commodities, and purchased components in support of manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Supply Chain/Materials Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
