Excel Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Contract Administration Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the negotiation, drafting, and execution of contracts between our company and external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Prepare, manage, and administer contracts with customers and subcontractors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
- Contract Strategy Development: Develop and implement a contract and change management strategy for projects, ensuring that contracts are structured to protect our interests while fostering positive relationships with external parties.
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Participate in the sales phase of projects, including contract review, assessment, re-drafting, and negotiation to ensure that contracts are fair and beneficial to our organization.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage all aspects of the contract lifecycle, including tracking key dates, milestones, and obligations, and coordinating contract amendments or extensions as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract terms, pricing structures, and other factors that could impact our financial or operational objectives.
- Dispute Resolution: Resolve any disputes or conflicts that arise during the execution of contracts, either through direct negotiation or by involving legal counsel if necessary.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and conduct periodic audits to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, law, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Contract Manager, including demonstrated success in negotiating and managing contracts on a regional, N. America scale.
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to analyze contracts, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Certifications: Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or similar certification preferred.
