Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate is passionate about enhancing student communication and language skills in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address individual needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress to inform treatment decisions.
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and support teachers in implementing language-based interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Jersey.
- Preferred qualifications include Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and experience working in a school setting.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and educators.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques to address a range of communication disorders.
- Understanding of IEP development and implementation to ensure comprehensive support for students.
