Job Overview:

THIS POSITION REQUIRES ONSITE PRESENCE.

The Parts Sales Associate I plays a crucial role in customer service by providing support for quote follow-ups and assisting the Parts Sales Coordinators and Warranty Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Excel queries to analyze open orders and quotes effectively.
  • Generate customer orders and create work orders for fabrication when necessary parts are unavailable.
  • Maintain a dashboard of open quotes and orders, ensuring timely follow-ups based on due dates.
  • Serve as a backup for spare parts coordinators during their absence, managing customer inquiries via calls and emails.
  • Develop a solid understanding of Alliance equipment to assist customers and direct them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The following qualifications are necessary:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience and Skills: Strong analytical skills are essential. Intermediate proficiency in a Windows-based environment is required, along with experience in databases and MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. Candidates should have a proven track record of accurately managing detailed records while consistently meeting deadlines.

Personal Attributes: Candidates should be personable, empathetic, and capable of collaborating effectively within a demanding production environment. Strong communication skills are essential.

Physical Requirements: To fulfill the essential functions of this position, candidates must be willing and able to:
  • Occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
  • Remain seated at a desk or computer for extended periods.
  • Navigate the office and factory, which may involve occasional lifting, bending, and reaching.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external contacts.
  • Maintain consistent daily attendance for a full work schedule.
Compensation: $18-$21/hr (dependent on experience) plus incentives/bonuses.
