Holiday Inn Express and Riviera Beach House is currently seeking a dedicated
Housekeeping Specialist to become a vital part of our team. The housekeeping specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations and common areas, ensuring adherence to our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both guests and staff.
  • Utilize necessary protective equipment as per property-specific guidelines.
  • Exhibit a warm, friendly, and professional attitude while delivering exceptional service to hotel guests.
  • Effectively communicate with guests and team members to enhance the overall experience.
  • Thoroughly clean guest rooms in accordance with company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Complete cleaning tasks within the timeframes set by management.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding room amenities and supplies.
  • Promptly report any items left behind in guest rooms to management.
  • Ensure the security of master room keys and return them at the end of each shift.
  • Report maintenance issues that require immediate attention.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed.
  • Notify management of any found or missing items and any damages.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to support the overall success of the hotel.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
Basic cleaning skills are essential. The ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and colleagues is desirable. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are important. Reliability and dependability are key attributes.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is between $18.00 and $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
