Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Anchor Hocking. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our glass manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including welding and cutting torches, packaging equipment, and other machinery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is performed to a high standard of quality and quantity, in accordance with plant operating procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues, including those related to compressed air systems, fire suppression systems, and other plant systems.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production staff to ensure that equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and technologies, and participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a glass manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, and proficiency in welding and cutting techniques.
  • Tools and Equipment: Must have own tools and equipment, as specified by the foreman.
