Position Overview:

As a Client Engagement Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding client support and operational assistance to one or more Financial Advisors, utilizing a wealth management or portfolio management strategy.

Your duties will include overseeing the client onboarding process, which entails managing the Financial Advisor(s) prospect pipeline, aiding in proposal creation, preparing necessary account documentation, establishing new accounts, transitioning assets to Baird, and formulating a continuous communication and service plan for clients.

You will develop a comprehensive understanding of Baird's Corporate Resource Groups and utilize these partnerships to offer optimal wealth management solutions to clients.

Handle all incoming calls, addressing client needs where feasible, and informing Financial Advisors of any actions taken.
You may also schedule client meetings and reserve conference rooms as needed.
Prepare and compile materials, including documentation and reports, for client meetings.
Ensure compliance with firm and financial industry regulatory standards.
In addition, you may manage the social media presence of the Financial Advisor and team (website, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).

Maintain the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for Financial Advisor(s), leveraging the platform to manage client relationships through mailings, reporting, email tracking, and more, with the aim of implementing effective client service models.

Organize and coordinate seminars and client events under the guidance of Financial Advisor(s). Develop client lists, create materials, and design content for seminars and meetings, including coordinating PowerPoint presentations and following up with client contacts.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and marketability of Financial Advisors.
Initiate and complete all transactions necessary to fully support client accounts, including paperwork, correspondence, client requests, and special projects as required.

You may also enter security orders for various investment vehicles, including stocks, bonds, fixed income, options, and annuities, based on Financial Advisors' instructions or client direction.

Additionally, you may provide support to other teams and the branch as needed, as well as undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.

Proactively evaluate investment opportunities daily and notify Financial Advisors to act on these opportunities, focusing on enhancing their business. This may involve monitoring available funds, maturing securities, reorganization items, and reviewing previous day activities.

Qualifications We Seek:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry and/or administrative experience.

Possession of or willingness to obtain the Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses within 18 months of hire. Training and resources will be provided and covered by Baird.

Focus on delivering excellent client service.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to effectively navigate Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and information effectively.
Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills and a consistent ability to prioritize team workflow to achieve specific goals in a timely manner.
Understanding of compliance regulations and correspondence policies, ensuring client confidentiality at all times.
Good analytical and critical problem-solving abilities.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Compensation Information:
$38.47 per hour* with bonus potential of up to 8.5% of annual compensation.
Opportunities for additional compensation through revenue sharing.
*Compensation and bonuses are commensurate with experience, licensing, performance, and/or firm profitability.
