Job Title: Associate General Counsel

SSA Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Associate General Counsel to support the company's continued growth and success. As a key member of the legal team, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on various aspects of the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, negotiate, and review various transaction documents, including real estate, hospitality, acquisitions, and technology agreements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate compliance and risk management programs to ensure the company's operations are in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide legal support and strategic thinking for corporate governance, privacy, labor and employment, and management activities.
  • Interpret and advise on existing and emerging labor laws in multiple jurisdictions, including wage and hour laws, disability and leave requirements, workplace harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination claims.
  • Develop and improve legal processes and procedures to ensure the company's operations are efficient and effective.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the bar in good standing.
  • 8+ years of experience as a civil litigator, with experience handling all aspects of litigation.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop solutions and present risks effectively.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively, with a collaborative mindset.
