DaVita is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Sr Corporate Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide strategic legal advice and support to our business leaders, ensuring that our operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare law, with a minimum of six years of experience in a mix of operations, corporate law, and healthcare law. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, subordinates, and operations personnel.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal counsel on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters
  • Structuring, negotiating, and providing legal oversight for business transactions
  • Drafting, reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Resolving business and lease disputes, and assisting in the management of litigation
  • Developing a thorough understanding of DaVita's business, its people, markets, facilities, customers, and competitors
