Sales Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Costello's Ace Hardware in Warren, NJ. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Costello's Ace Hardware is a leading retailer of home improvement products and services. We offer a wide range of products and solutions to meet the needs of our customers, from everyday essentials to complex projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our customers. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable
Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and applications of various products
Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment
Aid customers in locating merchandise in-store and online, as well as processing special orders
Participate in receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring that all products are properly displayed and stocked
Perform other tasks as assigned by management, such as restocking shelves, cleaning the sales floor, and assisting with inventory management
Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 60 pounds), as well as regular use of hands and arms. The ideal candidate will be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods without discomfort or limitation.
Salary:
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
