Job Description and Duties

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Classification and Recruitment team at the Department of Fish and Wildlife. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting hiring supervisors and employees in recruiting for critical positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide recruitment consultations to hiring supervisors and employees
  • Review and approve Human Resources recruitment transactions, including hiring above minimum and confirmation of minimum qualifications
  • Analyze justifications and other hiring paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Assist with developing recruitment plans to meet the needs of the department
Working Conditions:

This position works in a high-rise building and involves working on a computer for several hours a day. Attendance at virtual and in-person meetings and working groups is required. This position is eligible for telework consistent with the department's current telework policy.
