Key Responsibilities

We seek dedicated professionals who will embody the Select Medical Way, which emphasizes patient-first care, enhancing community quality of life, fostering innovation, providing high-quality services, and adhering to ethical practices.

  • Assessing patients and recommending suitable treatment strategies.
  • Delivering respiratory care to individuals with complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Executing the insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
  • Advancing continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Educating and counseling patients and their families.
Qualifications

Successful candidates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of patient needs, ensuring that each individual feels informed, understood, and valued. A passion for delivering superior quality care and an innovative approach to problem-solving in a dynamic setting are essential.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the start date.
  • Current state licensure is mandatory.
  • ACLS certification is required for agency RT upon first shift; PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire.

Preferred qualifications that enhance your candidacy:

  • At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
