About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vancrest Healthcare Centers. As an LPN in our Assisted Living community, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the nursing process and implement resident plans of care
  • Perform direct nursing services, including administering treatments and assisting with assessments and evaluations
  • Delegate suitable components of care to nursing assistants and provide guidance and supervision when necessary
  • Assist with resident and family health teaching and rehabilitation
  • Consult and validate data with the RN, record and report pertinent information, and provide explanations to families and other staff
  • Recognize and report safety hazards
  • May assume team leader duties when assigned under the direction of an RN
  • Identify and evaluate resident responses to health problems and treatments
  • Communicate resident care needs and approach to other personnel involved in care

Requirements:

  • Licensed Nurse in the state of Ohio
  • Experience in nursing preferred, but not required
