Cherry Bekaert Advisory, LLC is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our corporate tax practice, driving growth and success in tax compliance and provision outsourcing for middle-market, private equity backed, and public companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the firm's corporate tax practice strategy, aligning with our vision and goals.
  • Ensure discipline around execution of business processes and practices for the corporate tax practice.
  • Manage the utilization and productivity of professionals in the practice to achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to develop partners and professionals within the practice.
  • Drive consistency, collaboration, and communication among stakeholders.
  • Develop the corporate tax annual budget and drive results against budget and key performance indicators.
  • Grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients, cross-selling with other advisory practices, and obtaining new clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; master's preferred.
  • Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
  • Minimum 15 years of corporate federal and multi-state tax consulting and compliance experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience.
  • Technical ASC 740 experience, including expertise in corporate tax compliance, planning, and provision.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving growth and building an office, practice, industry group, service line, or similar.
  • Ability to drive success through influencing partners' behaviors.
