Heavy Equipment Operator

Sequoia Services is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of construction equipment, including excavators and bulldozers, to excavate, move, grade, and load material.
Key Responsibilities- Operate excavators and bulldozers safely and efficiently to complete tasks on time.
- Conduct operator inspections and perform preventive maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate machine actions and ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Participate in training opportunities to update job knowledge and stay current with industry developments.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in construction or a related field.
- Proficiency in operating CAT bulldozers (CAT D5-D8) and CAT excavators (CAT 320-349).
- Ability to attain certifications as required.
- Fit for duty and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
