Rigger/Millwright Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Rigger/Millwright Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely rigging and lifting heavy equipment, assembling and installing machinery, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.

• Safety First: Safely rig and lift heavy equipment using a variety of techniques and tools, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Equipment Assembly: Assemble, install, and align machinery, ensuring that all components are secured and in proper working order.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent wear and tear, and make necessary repairs.
• Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute project timelines, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Technical Expertise: Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the best approach for rigging and millwright tasks.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in rigging and millwright work.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to rigging and millwright work, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
