About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team at Catapult Learning. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with disabilities in grades K-8.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide academic, social, and emotional support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and families to drive student outcomes.
  • Conduct student assessments and use data to inform instruction.
  • Maintain accurate records and files as required by local, state, and federal agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching license for Special Education in New York state, Grades 1-6.
  • Experience teaching students with disabilities in grades K-8.
  • Reading Permanent Certification.
  • Unwavering commitment to supporting students with disabilities.
