As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including ultrasound, to help diagnose and treat patients.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound and other modalities to help diagnose and treat patients.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring patients understand their imaging results and treatment options.
- Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, including ultrasound, and ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
