RN Staff Operations Specialist

As a key member of the Blount Memorial Hospital team, the RN Staff Operations Specialist will play a vital role in the implementation of the Business Health program. This position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can promote a safer work environment and reinforce health awareness to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of age and population-specific education, as well as the ability to provide safe and efficient nursing care that meets the highest standards of quality healthcare.
Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation of the Business Health program
Promote a safer work environment and reinforce health awareness to clients
Provide safe and efficient nursing care that meets the highest standards of quality healthcare
Maintain standards for quality healthcare
Requirements
Current RN License in the State of Tennessee required
Must provide and maintain own nursing liability insurance coverage
CPR and AED certification required
Minimum one year RN experience required
Two to three years occupational health or emergency room experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge in occupational health nursing
Basic computer knowledge
Good listening skills and ability to articulate thoughts and ideas in a professional manner
Must be organized, responsible, motivated, and able to identify tasks that need completing and work to rectify situations or find solutions
Must be able to multi-task, work independently, and as a team player
Must be able to deal with unpleasant or demanding attitudes in a professional manner
Must have the ability to implement program goals and objectives
