Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of enhancements to our infrastructure, optimizing CDN utilization
  • Collaborate with various engineering teams
  • Implement security improvements at the CDN level
  • Establish standards for CDN deployment across the organization
  • Create tools that promote automation and self-service capabilities
  • Assist engineering teams in diagnosing failures and performance challenges related to CDN
  • Engage in an on-call rotation to support the above responsibilities
  • Guide and mentor junior team members

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of practical experience in CDN management
  • Comprehensive understanding of edge architecture and its operations
  • Proficient in open-source environments
  • Strong grasp of protocols such as DNS, TCP, TLS, and HTTP
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • A strong commitment to quality and excellence
  • Experience with cloud computing environments
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies
  • Knowledge of networking and routing principles
  • Experience with CDN providers like Cloudflare or Fastly
  • Proficiency in Terraform
