Job Summary:
Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular health deficits.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients with complex health care deficits.
- Direct the nursing care of unstable patients or patients requiring complex care management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct unit orientation and education for new staff members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
- Current NJ State Nursing License and BLS certification.
- Preferred: ACLS and PALS certification, two years of experience in critical care nursing.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position working 72 hours per pay period, with a 7p-7a shift. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
