Core Responsibilities:
- Execute sterile techniques and prepare surgical trays, ensuring a safe environment for patients
- Assist in the preparation and draping of patients for surgical procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces and surgical instruments
- Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies, including performing CPR when necessary
- Conduct routine safety checks on medical equipment and ensure compliance with established standards

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training
- Minimum of 24 months of full-time experience in a multi-specialty surgical setting
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
- Current BLS certification from a recognized organization
- Ability to pass a government background check and obtain security clearance

Skills Required:
- Proficient in aseptic techniques and surgical procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective communication with healthcare teams
- Basic computer skills for managing patient data and documentation
- Knowledge of operating room protocols and safety procedures
