Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Specialist to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirms patient identity and prepares patients for procedures
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care and assesses factors that may contraindicate the procedure
• Provides information to patients, healthcare providers, and the public concerning the role and responsibilities of individuals in the profession
• Performs routine, STAT, urgent, and on-call procedures while accurately demonstrating understanding of anatomy and pathology through proper imaging techniques
• Responsible for precise, complete, and accurate data entry and image management in appropriate technology infrastructure
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
