We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Dietitian to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our Clinical Nutrition department, you will play a vital role in providing quality nutrition care and education to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the nutritional status of patients and develop personalized nutrition plans to meet their unique needs.
- Provide expert nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in nutrition and dietetics, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nutrition setting, including dietetic internship.
