Job Summary

The Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time Clinical Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Assistant Professor in Small Animal Surgery. As a key member of the Small Animal Surgery Section, you will join a dynamic team of 7 full-time ACVS Diplomates, 6 residents/interns, and certified veterinary technicians. Our state-of-the-art teaching hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including arthroscopy, 3T MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D printing, and force-platform gait analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical service in the teaching hospital
  • Participate in clinical and didactic teaching of veterinary students, residents, and interns
  • Pursue clinical research and contribute to the development of innovative academic programs

Requirements
  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in small animal surgery
  • Wisconsin Veterinary License
