Role Overview: Reporting to the Deputy Head of Global Compliance, the Regulatory Compliance Support Analyst is tasked with ensuring that essential systems, applications, processes, and procedures are effectively designed and operational to maintain compliance with all regulatory obligations.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that Xe's products and services comply with local regulatory requirements and that operations align with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with compliance officers across jurisdictions to monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with business and regulatory performance expectations.
- Adjust KPIs and KRIs as necessary based on business needs and risk appetite.
- Oversee vendors and vendor-managed applications to ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements, escalating issues as needed.
- Work alongside the Business Process Improvement team to identify opportunities for enhancement within the department.
- Track and coordinate responses to issues arising from regulatory examinations, internal audits, and independent reviews, ensuring timely remediation as defined by management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for departmental communication channels, including critical notifications.
- Assist compliance heads during regulatory examinations, providing essential audit support.
- Manage and maintain the directory of policies and procedures, ensuring regular reviews and updates to reflect current practices and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about key regulatory changes and collaborate with the training team to develop and deliver necessary training.
- Coordinate monitoring and oversight of key program pillars according to required schedules.
- Partner with business stakeholders to maintain up-to-date knowledge of core activities and analyze proposed initiatives from a regulatory risk perspective.
- Support the review and updating of regulatory training materials for the business.
Ensure procedural excellence through regular compliance monitoring, effective root cause analysis, and continuous improvement, acting as a Risk Monitor for designated risks within the Risk Matrix.
Provide recommendations to the Head of Compliance regarding policy exceptions and escalation of issues.
Commercial & Business Partnership:Foster a compliance culture by serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders on regulatory compliance matters.
Lead initiatives to strengthen compliance culture across the organization and promote collaboration between compliance/risk functions and business units.
Recommend actions to the Head of Compliance to address risk areas and track the completion of agreed actions until resolution.
Qualifications:- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the financial sector.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law enforcement, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in compliance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the global regulatory landscape and key program requirements.
- Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
- Proficiency in reporting and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience managing multiple projects across teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate risk and compliance issues at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to produce high-quality work.
- Capability to assess complex activities to identify potential compliance and operational risks.
