Junior Automotive Service Technician

REPORTS TO:

Service Manager

DEPARTMENT:

Service

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Junior Automotive Service Technician is responsible for executing fundamental maintenance tasks such as oil changes and assessing tire pressure. This role also involves providing recommendations to the Service Manager regarding necessary parts, tires, or services that customers may require.

Essential Job Functions:

- Deliver friendly, helpful, and respectful customer service with a positive attitude.
- Perform oil and/or transmission fluid changes along with filter replacements.
- Assess tire pressure and ensure proper inflation levels.
- Suggest tires, parts, and services to the Service Manager based on customer needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Secondary Job Functions:

- Participate in cross-training for various roles as needed.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Position Requirements:

- Valid Driver's License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- ASE Certifications and/or a technical school degree are preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation details:
17-20 Hourly Wage
