We are seeking a skilled Monitor Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a Monitor Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality care of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain telemetry supplies and record patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
- Perform duties with a full understanding of related age-specific factors and follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Orient and mentor new staff members to ensure a smooth transition.
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course with demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- CMT/Cardiac experience preferred.
- Experience as a monitor tech in a hospital setting preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective listening skills.
