Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a procedural environment, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
  • Assist physicians in operative procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure, with compact licensure accepted if active FL RN license is obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required, with ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • One to three years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician, with critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
