Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a leading healthcare provider in New York City, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment that fosters professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthetic management for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room and Obstetrical area
  • Supervise CRNA staff, residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists in the clinical area
  • Participate in the departmental Quality Assurance program
  • Membership in appropriate committees as requested by the Chief of Service and/or Chairperson
  • Clinical resource for all levels of trainees
  • Participation in the didactic portion of resident, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students' educational programs
  • Time not spent in direct patient care will be devoted to administrative, educational, and/or research activities
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education programs to maintain and upgrade skills
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Anesthesiology
  • License to practice medicine in the State of New York
  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology
