Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Eastern Connecticut Health Network. As a Certified Lymphedema Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to improve or restore function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and establish individualized goals for each patient.
  • Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, activity level, and medical status.
  • Treat patients with therapeutic exercises and modalities to relieve pain and attain established goals.
  • Educate patients and families in home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent functional activity.
  • Document patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and referring physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist required.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
