We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at Amergis, formerly known as Maxim Healthcare Staffing.

**Salary:** $50/hour

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills and providing therapy services to minimize the impact of speech and language disorders.

In this dynamic position, you will collaborate with various groups and individuals to communicate information, resolve issues, and provide services in compliance with established guidelines.

You will also develop treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials to meet the needs of eligible students.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills to identify potential disorders and develop recommendations for treatment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to present evaluation results and develop treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement effective therapy programs to minimize the impact of speech and language disorders.
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to student progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with relevant software and systems.
