Job Title: Ophthalmologist

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmologist to join our team. As a key member of our Ophthalmology department, you will provide specialized eye care services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Ophthalmologist will be responsible for evaluating patients for ocular conditions, providing written evaluation notes, and collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in ophthalmology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine eye care services, including vision testing and evaluation of visual conditions.
  • Consult with other medical professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and injuries.
  • Educate patients about eye conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure best practice and adherence to clinical guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Medical degree in Ophthalmology and licensure to practice in the US, home country, or country of practice.
  • Successful completion of internship and residency in ophthalmology.
  • Experience working with adult patients.
  • Expert knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, and functions.
  • Excellent IT skills, including electronic medical records systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cope with stressful situations.
