Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Educator to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs to clinical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with managers, educators, and staff to assess learning needs and competencies of clinical staff.
  • Design, deliver, and assess learning activities and curriculum related to clinical competencies, departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and clinical information technologies.
  • Serve as a consultant and mentor for clinical staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
  • Participate in the development, coordination, and delivery of new clinical staff orientation and education activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program, Preferred: Associate Degree in Medical Assisting.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Certified or registered as a Medical Assistant. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years of recent experience practicing as a medical assistant.
