Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers in examination and treatment of patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Coordinate referrals and scheduling, ensuring seamless communication with patients, providers, and insurance carriers.
- Enter progress notes and other pertinent information into the electronic medical record, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Perform administrative duties, including patient registration, verification of benefits, and insurance authorizations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient referral processing and coordination of activities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT) or equivalent work experience.
- Nationally recognized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, with experience in electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems.
- 1-3 years of experience in family or pediatrics, with a strong understanding of clinical operations and patient care.
- Competitive hourly wage ($21-$26)
