We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development, College of Education and Human Development.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Learning Technologies and Performance Systems, advising students, and contributing to the development of the program. The position requires a strong research agenda in leveraging artificial intelligence and/or data analytics to strengthen and advance the LTPS program nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate courses in Learning Technologies and Performance Systems
  • Advise undergraduate students in the LTPS undergraduate program
  • Contribute to the development of the program through research and service
  • Develop and maintain a record of excellence in teaching, research, and service
  • Engage with external groups to better understand issues and potential partners in addressing stakeholder needs in the field
  • Seek grants and other revenue sources to advance and sustain programmatic efforts
Requirements
  • Earned doctorate in Informational Systems, Instructional Technology, Learning Science, Computational Social Science, Technology Management, or related field
  • Evidence of potential for developing and outstanding program and indications of strong mentorship and teaching skills
  • Evidence of publication in top-tier academic journals in Informational Systems, Instructional Technology, Learning Science, Computational Social Science, Technology Management, and/or closely related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire extramural funding
  • At least one year of experience teaching (face-to-face and online) Informational Systems, Instructional Technology, Learning Science, Computational Social Science, Technology Management, and/or closely related fields at the undergraduate level
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least three years of effective teaching (face-to-face and online) for undergraduate and undergraduate courses related to Informational Systems, Instructional Technology, Learning Science, Computational Social Science, Technology Management, and/or closely related fields
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate level in computer systems relevant to the field
  • Ability to advise undergraduate students
  • Research agenda in leveraging artificial intelligence and/or data analytics
  • Clear and innovative research agenda that will strengthen and advance the LTPS program nationally and internationally

This is a full-time, nine-month tenure-track position with an anticipated September 2025 start date. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
