Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the gathering of essential documentation prior to patient appointments
- Support patient evaluations and modify procedures to address medical requirements
- Prepare patients for consultations with healthcare providers
- Set up medical equipment and assist practitioners during treatments
- Record treatment plans and monitor patient conditions
- Deliver nursing care and administer medications
- Organize discharge instructions and subsequent care
- Serve as a communication link between patients, healthcare professionals, and families
- Engage in departmental goal-setting and suggest enhancements
- Carry out additional assigned responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Valid Mississippi Nursing license
- 1-3 years of RN experience, ideally in Orthopedics or Medical-Surgical settings
Essential Skills:
- Current Mississippi Nursing license and BLS certification
- Strong communication abilities
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Effective problem-solving capabilities
- Capacity to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Ability to establish strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and physicians
- Valid Mississippi driver's license and readiness to travel as necessary
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
