Bienville Orthopaedic Specialist LLC is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Nurse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in orthopedic care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records.
- Assist with patient assessments and adapt basic procedures to meet individual patient needs.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient use of provider time.
- Prepare equipment and assist providers during treatment, examination, and procedures.
- Chart physician orders and document treatment plans.
- Administer medications and provide general nursing care as directed.
- Coordinate discharge instructions, follow-up care, and diagnostic tests.
- Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
- Participate in developing department goals and objectives, recommending new approaches to improve efficiency and quality of care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current Mississippi nursing license and BLS certification.
- 1-3 years RN experience, preferably in orthopedic or med-surg.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to analyze data and resolve complex problems.
- Proficiency in electronic records systems.
- Valid Mississippi driver's license and ability to travel to all clinic locations.
