Job Summary

Bienville Orthopaedic Specialist LLC is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Nurse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in orthopedic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records.
  • Assist with patient assessments and adapt basic procedures to meet individual patient needs.
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient use of provider time.
  • Prepare equipment and assist providers during treatment, examination, and procedures.
  • Chart physician orders and document treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and provide general nursing care as directed.
  • Coordinate discharge instructions, follow-up care, and diagnostic tests.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
  • Participate in developing department goals and objectives, recommending new approaches to improve efficiency and quality of care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Current Mississippi nursing license and BLS certification.
  • 1-3 years RN experience, preferably in orthopedic or med-surg.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to analyze data and resolve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in electronic records systems.
  • Valid Mississippi driver's license and ability to travel to all clinic locations.
