Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Core Services team. As an LPN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including evaluating food/nutrition intake and assessing pain levels in patients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers and monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects.
  • Monitor patients for any behavioral changes and promptly report any observations to the healthcare team.
  • Perform urine sample collection and blood draws from patients as required, and ensure proper labeling and submission to the laboratory for testing.
  • Aid patients in completing necessary paperwork for patient assistance programs and assist with obtaining prior authorizations for medications or treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient care activities, including assessments, medications administered, and any changes in condition, following established documentation protocols.
Requirements
  • Current nursing license, in good standing with the Georgia State licensing board.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills to evaluate patients' health status, identify changes in condition, and monitor vital signs effectively.
  • Competency in assessing symptoms, recognizing abnormalities, and promptly reporting findings is essential for providing quality care.
  • Accurate and timely documentation is a critical aspect of nursing practice.
