About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at The Menta Education Group. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing direct educational and social services to students, while working collaboratively with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data-driven decision-making to inform multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral approaches
  • Leading efforts to help students succeed through effective leadership and intervention strategies
  • Developing and implementing positive behavioral and academic interventions
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and completing evaluations, program evaluations, and consulting with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
  • Occasional travel to other Menta locations may be required
Requirements
  • One of the following licenses/certifications: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate), MSW with LSW, LCSW, LCPC, LPC
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent consultative and data analysis abilities
  • Creative thinker able to develop a wide range of interventions meeting the diverse needs of students
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
Salary and Benefits

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance programs, as well as 10-month school position with 12-month semi-monthly pay, generous paid time off benefits, and 403(b) investment options.
