About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Koch Industries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall plant efficiency
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, including pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Welding certifications and experience with precision maintenance tasks
  • Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
  • Knowledge of pulp and paper industry and/or power generation/utilities
  • Experience with rigging, precision measurement, and condition monitoring
