Maintenance Coordinator Job Description

Oglethorpe Power is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of our power generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, operations personnel, and vendors to ensure effective communication and execution of maintenance activities
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address maintenance-related issues
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance strategies and policies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or engineering technology
  • 8+ years of experience in outage maintenance and management in an operating commercial electric power generating plant
  • Experience with CMMS software, preferably Maximo
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
