The ideal candidate will have experience in auditing and financial analysis, as well as knowledge of the state's procurement code and accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and approve purchase documents to ensure compliance with procurement code and accounting practices
  • Pre-audit financial documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct monthly post-audit of the state's procurement card program
  • Work with requisitions, purchase orders, accounts payable, and journal entries
  • Collaborate with the state's chart of accounts and financial systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or Business Administration
  • Two years of directly related work experience in accounting, auditing, finance, and/or budgeting
  • Knowledge of the state's procurement code and accounting practices
  • Experience with financial analysis and auditing
Working Conditions

This position is performed in an office setting with extensive use of personal computers and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, and reaching may be required.
